Have you ever heard the term “Breakfast for Dinner?” Sure, occasionally we had waffles for dinner growing up when my mom didn’t feel like cooking, but I never knew this was a actual phenomenon with a big, formal name. Well, apparently it is in Oklahoma.
Our good friends Adam and Emily had a baby 5 weeks ago, and they’ve been absorbed with taking care of little Graham. But they still make time to spend time with friends.
Last Friday evening we got together for some Breakfast for Dinner.
As is typical, we had WAY too much food. Christy brought two casseroles, her cheesy potatoes and a breakfast sausage casserole. I made a ton of french toast and about 2 pounds of bacon. Emily made delicious fruit smoothies. I skipped out on the smoothie, though, so I could indulge in a little of the other food.
As it turns out, Breakfast for Dinner with friends is fun.
